Pre-Loved Uniform Shop We look forward to welcoming you to this event and hope that we can expand this next year. Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community.
During half term, Phoebe in Year 9, performed for a second time on MSC Virtuosa cruise ship! Last year, Mr Blankley was onboard... This year, Mr Gannon was on board! On Sea day, Phoebe took part in two performances with her dance school show "Celebrate the Magic" and filled the theatre both times. Phoebe will also be performing at the Indigo O2 in London on Sunday 9th June, followed by being in the re-opening show for the Bedworth Civic Hall in July. The Civic Hall unfortunately didn't reopen after COVID hit, but thanks to a fabulous community group they have won the battle to reopen this venue as a volunteer run entertainment venue. Phoebe is proud to be part of the reopening team performing back on the Civic Hall stage where she first performed at the tender age of 5. Well done
Higham Lane students are today taking part in a Mock General Election, organised and run by our Year 12 Politics students, with the support of Mr. Ireland and Mr. Martin. Students have had assemblies over the past two weeks covering voting, suffrage, democracy and parliament. They have also heard brief summaries of the policies of the six parties standing in Nuneaton, to ensure that they are informed before they vote! We have a proud history at HLS of organising and running brilliant Mock Elections, and 2024 is no different! #GeneralElection2024
